MSHA Surface Training

A surface mine refers to a mine that is shallow, where the ore is near the surface and can be easily extracted by removing layers of soil and rock. Although these types of mines are near the surface, that does not mean that they are not dangerous, which is why every surface miner needs to undergo MSHA surface training.

Available in Part 46 and Part 48 MSHA training, MSHA new miner training online covers all topics related to the health and safety of working in surface mines. Topics covered range from environmental hazards, electrical issues, emergency procedures, and more.
